Without a doubt, spirits were high on Australia Day, when a group of dedicated volunteers took to the streets spreading the words of the Charter for Compassion.

In Hyde Park, Ambassador Danielle Lauren spoke to thousands when communicating with listeners on Sydney’s highest rating radio station 2GB. She called upon all Australians to “rise to the challenge” of living compassionately.

Auburn council kindly granted us a stall in Homebush at their local Australia Day event, where we took the opportunity to talk to local citizens about all issues relating to compassion.

Australia Day was the perfect day to talk about compassion and all who volunteered found the day meaningful and special.
